We are hiring immediately for General Production Laborers!
Wisconsin Tubing, located in Omro, WI, is looking for general production assistance producing plastic drain tile tubing. Earn a competitive pay using your skills and talents to grow professionally with an organization built on supporting its employees.
Current Hours: 1pm-11pm Monday-Thursday + occasional Fridays
Required skills for this role include and not limited to:
- Perform all tasks asked of by supervisor
- Guide tubing on to re-coiler
- Being attentive to quality is an absolute must
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Tie knots in twine to secure coils
- Continuous use of a utility knife is part of this role
- Must be able to function on your feet for the entire shift
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 80 Lbs up to 4 feet high
- Forklift driving experience is a plus
- Must have basic math skills to track quantity produced
- Ability to effectively communicate written and verbally
- Leadership skills is a plus
This role can be very fast paced and will involve cross training in all duties of the production process.
In this role you will, at minimum, encounter the following: Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, climbing (stepping), bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, reaching, paperwork, training, seasonal weather changes as well as noise, chemical & slip/trips/fall hazards associated with performing tasks.
