ABOUT PERFORMANCE MARKETING MANAGER ROLE
We are looking for a Paid Performance Marketing Manager to manage key paid user acquisition channels, which could include Facebook, Apple Search, Snapchat ads, ad networks, and other channels in the future. You’ll be responsible for building and executing plans that drive scalable and sustainable growth. You’ll work closely with data, design, brand, product marketing, research and other teams across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Manage key paid mobile user acquisition channels, which include Facebook, Apple Search, Snapchat, ad networks, and other channels in the future
Be part of the acquisition team where you get exposure to a variety of user acquisition channels (paid, organic, digital, non-digital) over time and a lot of responsibility. This team is part of a larger cross-functional Growth team.
Manage your channels end to end, including: developing channel strategy, defining targeting, managing creative, setting up campaigns, optimizing campaigns, measuring performance, and deriving insights to inform future campaigns
Be data driven and always developing and testing new hypotheses
Be accountable for hitting goals and driving sustainable growth
Work with both in house and agency creative teams to produce high performing creative
Collaborate with the data team to develop KPIs and dashboards
Present plans and results to the leadership team
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES THAT’LL HELP YOU BE GREAT
3+ years of paid mobile user acquisition experience at a fast-growing tech company
Extensive experience with Facebook, Snapchat and ASA and some experience with ad networks (e.g. Feedmob, Vungle, Ironsource, Unity). Experience with Facebook web acquisition is a plus.
Have a thorough understanding of ad attribution and tracking with mobile measurement partners (i.e.TUNE, Adjust, Appsflyer, Kochava)
You’re an expert with some paid channels and have a track record of learning new paid channels quickly
Experience managing large budgets
Strong strategic and analytical skills
Hands-on experience with data
Experience – and a desire – to do both strategic planning and daily execution/optimization
Experience ASO, partnerships, or affiliates is a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, fast-moving, scrappy startup environment
Excellent communication and project management skills
