Lead the North America Sensory Science Team across the Region to elevate the practice and drive differentiation and value in the marketplace aligned with our Purpose Driven Strategy. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure the proper structure of the Sensory Science Team across North America.

Leads the development and execution of the Sensory Science structure and creation of the 3-year people plan aligned with business requirements.

Manage Sensory Science talent management process including development of individual plans.

Leads directly the Sensory Science Team located in the Country of base.

Define, lead and execute sensory programs across the region to drive value to our customers and support new Product Development.

Align and elevate sensory methodologies and procedures across North America to support commercial teams, Innovation and GCI initiatives.

Create and execute initiatives and plans to improve the Sensory Science practice in the region based on the third-party audit findings.

Promote and lead proactive sensory research that will provide a competitive advantage to Griffith Foods.

Leading execution of ConSensUs Mapping across North America with focus on select market categories.

Coordinate sensory resources for cross geography initiatives by defining which projects should be executed regionally and which should be done locally.

Assure documentation of established sensory protocols and training materials within each location.

Drive research and trial of new sensory methods across the region and within each location to meet needs of internal and external customers.
Identify and establish partnerships and ecosystems to increase capacity, excellence and effectiveness.
Identify and leverage new technologies to increase capacity, excellence and effectiveness.
Collaborate with Marketing Culinary, CI and PD teams to support their needs to drive value and differentiation.
Attend conferences and courses to learn new approaches to sensory testing and stay current in the field of Sensory Science.

Collaborate and support Global Sensory leaders as needed to elevate Sensory Science globally.

Education & Experience:
B.S. degree in Food Science or equivalent science with 15-20 years of professional experience in Sensory Science role, including supervisory or managerial experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or MS Degree in Food Science with 10 years of experience in a Sensory Science leadership role.

Experience presenting Sensory Science capabilities, Sensory data and sensory solutions directly to customers.
Strong and proven organization and communications skills.
Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills in a multi-functional business environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Proficient in CompuSense software and questionnaire design and development.
