The Chief Administrative Office Operations team supports compliance, and manages and maintains reference data to ensure that our customers, employees, and lines of business are in adherence with firm standards and required regulations.

Description of Role, Functions and Activities
Party Reference Data Operations (PRD) is an operating unit center of excellence that enables multiple lines of business across J.P. Morgan Chase to leverage consistent, high-quality Party reference data. The team’s responsibilities include setting up, maintaining and off-boarding Party reference data, as well as supporting targeted data quality remediation efforts. PRD also supports the External Data Domain, which involves definitional and data model work.
The PRD Product team supports the different Party reference data products used at J.P. Morgan Chase. Product Business Analysts / Release Train Engineer support the planning and execution of changes made to these products, and partner closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of tactical and strategic change efforts.
The candidate must be a change agent whose primary focus is on the teams delivering change. To be effective, the candidate must have developed a more refined and broader understanding of how Agile and SAFe deliver value to the organization.
KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE
Defining and ensuring adherence to Agile best practices
Defining and executing key routines at the program level centered around program increment planning, execution and monitoring
Assessing and driving health of sprint teams and providing necessary coaching
Defining and maintaining necessary metrics and program updates across feature teams
Defining and managing program work intake processes
Defining and coordinating program level releases
Facilitate system demos and solution demos
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES OF THE ROLE
Have a deep understanding of Lean-Agile frameworks, especially at the program level
Have a broad understanding of the various change management methodologies and how to thread between
Identify meaningful metrics to track, how to interpret them, and how to offer course corrections at the program or feature team level when necessary
Be able to identify the test objective of each scenario and define test conditions either valid or invalid.
Have an understanding of the core applications and products of the Party Reference Data business
Have a strong understanding of technical concepts and engineering practices

Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience in agile product development ideally in a scrum master or other support role
Advanced experience using agile tools, JIRA, JIRA Portfolio, Confluence, etc.
Familiarity with data management, reference data, client onboarding and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, and industry sources of reference data is preferable but not mandatory
Experience in full systems development lifecycle from project initiation, requirements definition, user acceptance testing through implementation
Experience in writing test plans, test scripts and test cases
Experience working in reference data platforms and/or with external market vendor products (e.g., BBG, Reuters)
Experience in transforming a technology operating model
Well-organized with strong attention to detail and presentation skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate within a team environment and interact across departments
Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible to work alone and with a team to meet targets
Proven ability to work accurately and under pressure to meet deadlines
