Glassdoor is looking for a Sr. Learning & Development Manager focusing on bringing two of our key People Team strategies together – Learning & Development and Diversity & Inclusion – in order to help people respect individual differences and develop more inclusive leadership practices. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating discussions related to equity, including racial equity. This role will ideally be based in our San Francisco HQ and report to the Director of People Experience (PX).
Learning & Development:
Understand and prioritize the most critical business needs and design global, scalable L&D strategies that support leadership development, career development, D&I, and onboarding
Develop outstanding strategies to make learning stick, partnering with our Data & Analytics team to craft effective pilots, measurement strategies, and share success insights
Work with our Talent Management team to create innovative development strategies to support career development, helping to drive successful internal mobility
Build and deliver engaging learning experiences across multiple media and platforms
Develop efficient systems and processes for supervising budget, program participation, and program logistics in partnership with our People Experience Coordinator
Help identify tools and resources to make development planning and learning opportunities self-service; help people find what they need when they need it
Lead the rollout of Glassdoor's flagship manager development program, including partner engagement, communication & promotion, vendor management, and content development
Run learning & development programs, including a speaker series, open enrollment sessions, D&I training, bias training, and ad hoc training requests
Lead and redesign Glassdoor's onboarding program to build a memorable, engaging, and impactful new hire experience that strengthens company culture and values
Run Glassdoor's executive coaching program. Partner with executive leadership to build personal development plans, and ensure a seamless coaching process that creates desired outcomes from participants
Diversity & Inclusion:
Deliver quality training programs through various platforms. Facilitate core development programs to educate People Leaders and Employees on how to recognize, accommodate and appreciate individual differences and how these behaviors assist with meeting company business goals
Act as an advocate to the organization on matters of D&I, including matters of racial equity
Design, develop, implement and lead targeted learning programs and initiatives. Run D&I learning programs. Create and run D&I talent programs such as mentorship or allyship training. Evaluate the appropriateness of introducing new diversity training initiatives and consider the unique needs of the organization

Experience you bring:
5+ years of experience designing, building and leading measurable and scalable programs for multicultural, complex organizations
Deep knowledge and experience successfully implementing D&I strategies, including D&I programs with an emphasis on racial justice.
Demonstrated success in building, delivering, and measuring high-impact learning experiences to a diverse audience
Well-versed in theory and practice of developing adult learners; you know the "rules" of L&D well enough to break them
Trusted project and program manager, and can effectively manage multiple projects and partners at once
Fueled by the ever-evolving needs of a dynamic, growing organization; you adopt change and thrive in ambiguity
Skilled translator; you can effectively distill sophisticated ideas into digestible, relevant content
Clear and engaging communicator, presenter, and facilitator (and always seeking to get better!)
You're all about solutions and approach new ideas with an open-mind to creatively solve problems
Effectively balance speed and quality; you leave everything better than when you found it and push for progress on every project you touch
Exhibit grace under pressure and can effectively turn hard moments and/or sophisticated subject matter into growth opportunities
You have previous exposure working with or within high-growth, fast-changing technology driven organizations
Able to review D&I research, and applying principles from relevant research in a business setting, as well as the strengths and drawbacks of what has been tried to date
