The Automotive Sales Consultant is extremely knowledgeable about our vehicles, and services, the industry, and our market. This includes, but not limited to vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, features, functions, and financing options for both new and used vehicle inventories. He or she presents new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in an attractive and highly informative fashion that promotes a prompt sale and maintains an ongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED, previous sales experience in the automobile industry, excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, great communication skills, the ability to deliver world class customer service, and a willingness to continuously prospect to sell above a minimum quota on an ongoing basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help customer with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services, and purchase and finance options following dealership policies
- Conduct vehicle test drives and ensures all speed limits and all other rules of the road are followed
- Negotiate sale closure in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashion
- Help facilitate delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements
- Maintain accurate sales documentation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions
- Address customer concerns and issues or escalates them as needed
- Encourage repeat business by acknowledging the customer's purchase with gratitude
- Greet all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
- Guide customers in filling out all appropriate paperwork
- Handle customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines or escalates complaints when necessary
- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards
- Attend and monitors the product and sales training courses as required by dealership and/or manufacturer
- Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years of sales experience
- Good sales and customer service track record with above region CSI scores
- Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
- Strong desire to “assist the customer”
- Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections
- Professional appearance
- Quality customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Persistent, competitive and have a good work ethic
- Focus on the customer’s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience
- Practice social distancing; follow CDC guidelines

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
