The Senior Recruiter provides the highest level of full life cycle recruiting to the organization’s leaders and candidates; advancing the Prescient brand across numerous markets and professional communities. They demonstrate exceptional skills in interviewing techniques, with a solid knowledge of all specialized functions in the organization, as well as, an extensive knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices in a multi-state organization.
Oversee communications on progress and metrics, addressing advertising effectiveness, and efficiencies and placement of key value propositions specific to markets.
Develop KPIs specific to each account/location, measuring success of recruiting activities, advertising effectiveness, and meeting projected needs of timelines set forth by management team.
Recruit operations staff directly via face to face meetings, email and social media platforms when applicable.
Recruit or “sell” the value of Prescient opportunities specific to each candidate’s unique needs.
Identify leading indicators of potential issues for progress.
Develop compelling metrics to present within the department and to leadership throughout the organization to make proper adjustments as market conditions dictate.
Produce weekly detailed tracking reports of total lead volume by day, trends, leads to hire ratios and other relevant lead metrics for specific locations of responsibility.
Asses and identify key knowledge of the local market to new and/or existing processes and procedures.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends both nationally as well as in geographic areas.
Ongoing development of new recruiting practices to expand possible reach of Prescient to a larger targeted audience. Not limited to, but to include potential job fairs, trade shows, industry specific events, on site open house events, etc.
Travel, including overnight, up to 50% of time, based on start-up activities, hiring priorities and other business needs.
Work to align resources as needed for rapid escalation of hiring in key markets where the business needs requires additional capacity.
Resources include recruiter placement to specific locations, advertising/marketing spend and additional possible resources that may be required to accomplish above average results.
Demonstrated ability to manage average requisition load of 15-25 consistently.
Complete weekly report on employment activity, HR metrics on a quarterly and annual basis for the department.
Research salary data and create suggested wages based on wage analysis as requested and for new positions.
Ad hoc projects or tasks as requested by the HR Director.
Hands on experience with using Applicant Tracking Systems
Familiarity with OFCCP compliance in relation to recruitment, and employment requirements including outreach and reporting.
Strong working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience conducting full-cycle recruiting in a high volume, or start-up environment.
Minimum of five (5) years in high volume yet targeted geographic areas.
Must be able and willing to travel up to 50%
Experience recruiting or sourcing for Manufacturing Operational roles.
Experience with hard-to-fill recruitment experience desired.
Demonstrates proven sourcing skills utilizing current social media sourcing tools. (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
Experience in managing data, reporting and effectively utilizing systems to track performance.
Ability to manage multiple priorities as well as flexibility to adapt to change with new systems and methods while working in a team environment.
Knowledge of creating recruiting platforms through different media resources to present the organization in a way that attracts candidates.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in the construction or manufacturing industries.
Experience with OFFCP recruiting and hiring protocols and requirements.
