Gensler’s Seattle office was established in 2000 to provide services in architectural and workplace design to the Puget Sound Region. Our clients include financial services, professional services firms, corporate and regional headquarters, advertising, retail, academia, museums, and transportation. We're seeking an Aviation Account Manager to add to our dynamic team. You will bring your architecture or interiors expertise, along with a passion for aviation projects, into a thriving firmwide practice area to maintain and build relationships with appropriate client types.
What You Will Do
Manage existing, and build new, relationships within the aviation practice based in the Seattle area.
This work will occur in tandem with Practice Area leaders in Aviation across the NW region and the firm.
Identify opportunities for new work and see that through to a successful winning conclusion.
Work closely with staff at all levels, and provide them leadership and guidance.
Grow the practice by finding successive opportunities for challenge on world class projects.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience.
Existing relationships with local aviation market and other area agencies strongly preferred.
Licensed architect or designer preferred.
Demonstrated drive and passion for strategic thinking and vision for growth of the practice area.
Demonstrated successful work with a portfolio representing a diverse project size.
Adept at communicating with clients and staff.
Capable of managing budgets for large and complex projects.
Ability to identify trends that are affecting the marketplace, and our clients, who are both airport authorities and air carriers.
