We are seeking a research technician to develop and characterize novel immune based therapies for pediatric brain tumors. The projects also include aspects such as antigen discovery and studying mechanistic implications of CAR T cell therapies. Experience in molecular assays and tissue culture techniques are required, prior experience performing flow cytometry and in vivo experiments is desired. Candidates will perform and coordinate a wide range of laboratory research procedures and conduct a spectrum of support tasks and projects determined by our current research. Duties include molecular, cellular, and biochemical analyses using methods such as cell culture, cloning, Single Cell-Seq, animal models, and processing tissue for translational studies. The technician will manage murine colonies and perform cranial implants. Candidates will communicate effectively, work independently, and present scientific findings.
The Research Technician II conducts research as directed by a principal investigator. The RT-II performs routine research procedures related to investigation, such as genotyping and RNA and DNA extraction. Duties will be completed under supervision.
