Headquartered in Hawthorne, CA, Sattar & Associates is a growing tax accounting firm specializing in multi-state Sales and Use Tax compliance and consultation. We are currently hiring for a full-time, entry-level Tax Assistant to join our team.

What You’ll Do
Our Tax Assistant position is an entry-level, overtime-eligible position within our firm. No experience is necessary and training is provided.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Enter, process and review data efficiently and accurately.
- Complete journal entries and prepare monthly Sales and Use Tax Returns.
- File the returns and submit tax payments online.
- Maintain control documents in Microsoft® Word, Excel, and/or Access.
- Resolve notices and assessments from taxing authorities.
- Assist with filing and maintaining business licenses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or other related field preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- A good team player.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
