The position will be responsible for tracking and managing capital expenditures in a manufacturing plant. The individual will work with a multi-disciplined team, ensuring compliance to Capex related to IFRS 9, US GAAP and FSE Policy. Once operation becomes commercial, transition to Cost Analyst role for cost of production, valuation of inventory and financial statement reporting.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT.
Follow US Capex procedures in alignment to global FSE Policy.
Produce consolidated reporting, including milestone summary, key issues, risks, benefits, and summary of costs incurred on monthly basis.
Manages the Project documentation repositories related to all long-term manufacturing plans.
Regularly monitors assigned project performance and cost estimates to ensure accuracy and mitigates deviations related to the projects.
Collaborates with purchasing department to comply with the FSE Policy.
Collaborates with Global Operations central engineering and plant engineering teams on capital & expenses related to the projects.
Prepares budget, forecast and control of the continued implementation guaranteeing the monthly development and phasing.
Ensure accuracy of long term operations and cost of production targets.
Assist team to maintain and create standard costs.
Execute other tasks as needed.
BS degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 5-7 years high qualification in a Finance, Accounting or Project Cost analysis role, within an industrial / manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in fast paced environment, handling multiple priorities to effective closure.
Project management experience in a large regulated, high speed manufacturing environment
Decisive, self-motivated/capable of working on own initiative
Good communication skills and the ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Must be able to effectively communicate with all organizational levels.
Must be proficient with Excel as well as knowledgeable in all other Microsoft Office applications.
