Assistant Warehouse Manager

The Assistant Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse operations and management of the warehouse team. This professional will be involved with fulfillment, inbound receiving, inventory control, labor management, process management, safety, general housekeeping and quality in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. The ideal candidate will act as a resource for the warehouse team and be a primary leader in ensuring processes are completed in a compliant manner. This applicant will have excellent leadership skills and communication skills.

Essential Responsibilities

Monitor the appearance and cleanliness of the warehouse. Assign general housekeeping as needed.
Maintain stock replenishment levels in the distribution center by working closely with Operations Manager and General Manager.
Monitor inventory levels, return authorizations and ensure that product is going in and out of the warehouse in proper working order.
Work closely with other departments including the Customer Care team to troubleshoot any warehouse related issues.
Cross-train in all aspects of managing the warehouse such as receiving, shipping, scheduling, etc. Work on processes and procedures to better improve the warehouse.
Build and maintain relationships with closeout dealers to sell product.


Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or military equivalent.
Previous Warehouse leadership and Warehouse process experience preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Past forklift experience and certification.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to solve and analyze problems and search for solutions when issues may arise.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
