The Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG, formerly Altera) seeks a Marketing Operations leader responsible for insuring consistent and ongoing efficiency within the PSG Marketing organization. This role has a broad, comprehensive scope of responsibilities with a specific charter of promoting and maintaining the productivity and efficiency of the marketing team with focus on people, process, tools and standards.
Intel PSG is experiencing unprecedented growth with innovation of new applications and features for both traditional and new partners, industries and markets. The Marketing Organization is a critical part of PSG’s growth story. As such, the Marketing team is growing and has recently transformed to pace with new market opportunities.
The Marketing Operations Leader reports to PSG’s Vice President of Marketing and is integral to team performance. A key contributor to the growth and scale of PSG, you will insure that the PSG Marketing team anticipates and responds to business needs and delivers accordingly. Working with the VP of Marketing you will set priorities for the team, drive department action requirements (ARs), and provide program management for marketing projects. You will measure results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and measures/manages performance to plan.
The Scope of work for this role includes:
Measurements – delivers the methods and process to insure alignment of Marketing Strategic Objectives and commitments to deliverables through the creation, communications, and maintenance of scorecards/dashboards
Communications - creates and drives meeting agendas, creates reports, makes presentations; interprets information and creates content required for internal and external stakeholder needs and updates, includes driving meeting and work session content.
Staffing - for the team is the point of contact for Intel Human Resources to insure efficient staffing process management in acquisition selection, orientation, and training of Marketing Organization staff
Process – creates/maintains and communicates marketing work process flows by documenting information and requirements with related operational departments and participating with and providing resources to business improvement teams.
Quality Standards - promoting visibility and measuring to marketing systems, policy and procedures, measuring demand response, works in progress, stakeholder satisfaction
Content/Tools/Technology - creation and management of the tools and process to house team content, collateral and communications
Finance/Budgeting – measures, manages and communicates marketing budgets and expenses, manages budgeting changes and is a primary point of contact for budget requests and changes.
Results-oriented, drives cross-organizational issues and projects to resolution
Exceptional written and spoken communication stills. Can utilize presentations as a successful communication platform
Strong project management and business partnering/influencing skills, disciplined process management, problem-solving skills, multitasking and attention to quality and detail.
Individual should be highly organized, proactive, and have excellent calendar management and planning skills.
Leading/driving/participation in process and/or technology transformation, change management
Creation and Management of Content Management and the content management process
10 + years of semiconductor experience working within a Technical Marketing (or related) Organization, or a technical related role working closely with sales, business groups, senior executives and with customers. Prior People management is a strong plus
Experience developing and driving marketing strategy and comms (working closely with finance, and account teams is highly desired)
Experience with MS Suite of Applications including Visio/SharePoint/Project
BSEE, BSCS, BSCE or related Bachelors Degree (MBA is also a plus)
Experience in FPGAs, or with multiple Intel Business Units is a plus.
