Job Overview We are looking for smart, innovative and motivated individuals with automotive research & development background to join the Qualcomm Autonomous Driving team in San Diego, and work on designing and prototyping the brain of next generation autonomous vehicles. You will have the opportunity to work with a group of top talents in computer vision, deep learning, robotics, sensors (radar/lidars), connectivity and positioning at Qualcomm headquarters in sunny San Diego, CA. As a part of the Systems Integration and Test team, you will work closely with algorithm/component developers to test the performance at both systems and component level. Responsibilities and Duties:
Bring-up, test and evaluate components (h/w and s/w) in the lab as well as in the vehicle.
Define test goals, write test plans, execute tests in the lab and in the vehicle and perform detailed post-processing analysis.
Create, extend and maintain simulation environments (SIL/HIL) for systems testing.
Develop test and analysis software/scripts to visualize results, calibrate and verify the performance of components.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
Excellent Python programming or scripting, data analysis, visualization background.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with electronics, electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital data analyzers).
Analytical and scientific mindset, with the ability to develop tests to identify and solve complex problems in autonomous drive domain.
Masters degree in engineering, Electronics or Computer Science
Hands on experience in developing test suites as well as testing ADAS/Autonomous drive /robotics systems.
Knowledge in some of the following areas signal processing, sensor fusion, computer vision, deep learning, radar processing, route planning, path planning, positioning, CAN.
Hands on experience with ADAS sensors radars, camera, Lidar, GPS etc.
Experience with SIL/HIL development and testing of autonomous drive systems.
Education Requirements Required: Master's, Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Doctorate, Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
