Program Manager, Product Marketing
New Relic is looking for a high-performing Program Manager for our product marketing team to drive the direction, coordination, implementation, and execution of product marketing deliverables and cross-functional commitments. The Product Marketing team is responsible for designing our product go-to-market strategy (including new product launches and feature releases), creating product messaging, partnering cross-functionally to develop content and internal enablement, while supporting demand generation campaigns and programs. You will be accountable for providing project/scrum management and performance reporting for all product marketing programs covering each product in New Relic’s platform.
Drive and document continuous process improvement
Manage product marketing deliverables from inception through publishing
Prepare regular status reports and facilitate meetings for leadership and stakeholders on the status of deliverables
Coordinate across teams for smooth and high-quality delivery
Coordinate with sales enablement teams to provide enablement materials for our programs through their established channels (potentially owning development of some materials as well)
Coordinate with third parties/vendors for the execution of projects as needed
Identify risks to delivery and work with stakeholders and leadership to remove roadblocks and mitigate risks to the deliverables
Identify, document and resolve dependencies related to people, product and process
Maintain and demonstrate a solid understanding of functional and technical deliverables with the ability to communicate their relationships and dependencies
Challenge the Project Management process “status quo” and partner with other project managers to build a best-in-class standard approach for managing programs
Skills and experience:
4+ years project management experience
Leadership Skills: You will have to keep team members motivated and accountable for their commitments, resolve resourcing gaps and offer proactive solutions to issues that may arise over the course of the projects
Time Management: You will be working with Relics from multiple teams across the organization, running parallel projects at the same time
Previous experience in product, product marketing, solution marketing, or marketing campaign programs and strategy
Excellent oral/written and presentation skills required
Ability to influence and align indirect and disparate teams
Strong planning, time management, and people skills
Agile or Scrum Master certification is a plus
Bachelor’s degree required
