POSITION SUMMARY: The Scheduler will be responsible for performing the primary duties of clinician scheduling and other administrative duties for department head(s).

Uses database (HCHB) to create weekly clinician schedules with patients.
Provides administrative support including word processing and typing, composing and proofreading correspondence, indexing and filing documents.
Answers inquiries and takes concise phone messages. Refers callers/visitors to appropriate individuals.
Compiles information and types reports from data and existing records.
Assists other staff as requested.
Maintains strictest confidentiality.
Minimum Requirements
Home Health scheduling experience required.

Minimum of one year of administrative experience in a professional office environment; preferably with a health care organization.
High school diploma.
Knowledge of computer word processing programs, systems and other software.
Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, systems.
Knowledge of office management practices and secretarial procedures.
Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation to type from draft copy, review and edit reports, and correspondence.
Knowledge of basic arithmetic to make calculations, balance and reconcile figures, and make changes accurately.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities.
Ability to have great attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with staff, patients, external agencies.
Preferred Requirements
Homecare Homebase (HCHB PointCare) EMR experience highly preferred.
