Under the direction of the Phoenix Cluster IT Manager, position will provide IT support for designated units and departments. Responsibility include desktop/client system set-up, support, and network administration. Install and maintain software, document methods, install and troubleshoot system client based wires/wireless network hardware, printers, peripherals, across various non-homogenous hardware and software platforms.
Sit at computer terminal for extended periods.
Dexterity and ability to lift and manipulate server and desktop computing equipment weighing above 100 lbs with assistance or up to 40lbs independently.
Work occasional overtime including evenings and weekends for system deployment and maintenance activities, and project priorities.
Travel to satellite buildings on and off campus for supported IT Service.
Occasional travel for training activities.

Experience with various protocols via wired/wireless network standards, while understanding the application of Windows Active Directory to include mobile devices.
Experience diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, network, software conflicts, failures, errors, and incompatibilities independently and in a timely manner.
Skills to utilize non-standardized and legacy equipment within technical minimum requirements.
Experience managing active directory objects pertaining to domain server/client troubleshooting.
Experience with the following software for system support: Acronis, BigFix, Crashplan, and Box Sync.
Experience with using ServiceNow as a request/ticketing System.
Experience troubleshooting with Cloud/Hybrid Cloud hosting technologies like: Office365, Box.com, Dropbox, Synology and various Google Suite/Apps.
Experience working with and troubleshooting computers that utilize specialized research equipment like HPLCs, LC-MS, Gel Imagers/Scanners, PCR, Various Microscopes, Spectrophotometers.
Experience working with and troubleshooting various Audio/Visual equipment in a classroom/conference room setting.
