Requirements:
Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16 of an inch, plus understand decimal equivalents for measuring.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Spatial awareness is required.
General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.
Job Description
This is a physically demanding position. Read QC sheets (cutting instructions) and cut the foam using an auto vertical saw.Verify equipment set-up before starting a production run, operates, and shut down manufacturing equipment.
Verifies order information and produces part(s) with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements while meeting productivity standards.
Monitors equipment and reports malfunctions to the Manager; assist with routine cleaning.
Maintains proper work logs and completes required reports as necessary. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Performs any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
