Your work falls into the following categories:
Strategy Development and Implementation
  • Provide appropriate level of consultation within the organization to understand needs and develop a strategy in support of the HRDI division’s delivery model and feedback from key stakeholder groups
  • Identify and implement corporate wide training programs that support the organization with the highest level of effectiveness and impact
  • Leverage data and evaluation findings to help inform training and development efforts
Best Practice Research and External Support
  • Keep abreast of best-in-class and current trends in training and development and make recommendations to improve or better align offerings with the goals of the company
  • Identify and manage external vendors to ensure offerings are effective, achieving the desired impact and there is an acceptable cost to value ratio
  • Leverage learning industry trends to foster greater efficiency and deliver innovation and positive learning experiences
Team Management and Leadership
Manage and develop a small team of Learning Consultants
  • Ensure team is operating in the most effective way possible and have the appropriate level of skills and capabilities to be successful
  • Understand what’s unique about each team member and know how to capitalize on their strengths and find ways to upskill where gaps exist
Operations and Technology
  • Leverage and align work to appropriate resources across the team to ensure work is completed in the most efficient and impactful way
  • Understand capabilities of and current trends to maximize the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) to best engage in and enhance the learner’s experience
  • 8+ years of related experience in the training and development industry – along with some other complimentary experience in leadership development, culture, HR management, etc. is preferred
  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated capability related to course curriculum development, training assessment methodology, metrics, multimedia, web based and virtual/online learning design as well as the use of multiple training platforms and modalities
  • Proven knowledge of vendor management, strategic planning and execution, project management, and best practices implementation
  • 4-6 years of management skills with a passion for leading and developing individuals to meet their highest level of potential
