Job Description
The QA Support Analyst executes testing procedures to ensure that DVIDS software meets established quality standards. This candidate will be an integral member of the DVIDS team and will be responsible for creation of test strategies, leading/guiding/organizing test case writing and execution, writing test cases, and executing testing. This position is for someone familiar with the full life cycle of software development and has hands-on experience at all levels of the quality assurance process, planning, execution, and monitoring. This candidate will have an in depth knowledge of the DVIDS web application to include all aspects of the application. This includes but is not limited to the CMS (Configuration Management System), interfaces, and API’s (Application Program Interfaces) that are used to support the DVIDS program.

Executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards.
Isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects.
Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies
Performs technical support for the Tier II service/helpdesk team
Verifies fixes.
Documents testing according to required procedures
Promptly answer service/helpdesk support emails, phone calls and other electronic communications (Weekend availability)
Ability to analyze requirements and problems and propose workable solutions
Demonstrated ability to successfully organize and manage multiple priorities
On-call availability
Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus
Working directly with customers via phone and email to respond to technical issues
Providing escalated technical and triage support for other team members
Prepare and present/deliver reports summarizing status of
Test case writing
Bug counts
Bug status
Testing coverage
Testing percent completion
Requirements
B.S. in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.
1+ years of Technical Support Customer Service experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in the field of the Software Development QA
Proven ability and hands on experience in test case writing and reviewing
Proven experience providing risk management and risk mitigation to QA programs
Extensive experience with open-source test automation frameworks and tools
Experience in writing Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts for Client-Server and Web-based applications both in Manual and Automated Testing modes
Strong technology background with a comprehensive knowledge of Internet, Mobile and Digital Online Media technologies
At least 2+ years of experience as a Tier II Support Tech/QA Analyst.
Experience in Content Management Systems, Digital Asset Management Systems, and 3rd-party API integration is preferred.
Experience with Cloud based Technologies
Familiar with media metadata standards (ID3, EXIF, XMP, IPTC)

College degree (Computer Science / Computer Information Systems) or equivalent experience.
Must be a US Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) issued Common Access Card (CAC)
