Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, the Director of Strategic Procurement will develop and lead the execution of the long term sourcing strategy, oversee all activities related to the procurement of indirect corporate goods and services, partner with internal customers in negotiating and managing indirect purchase agreements and strategic agreements to drive savings and efficiency. This role can be based in Oakland, CA or Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:
Develop a sourcing plan reflective of portfolio management: Long-term agreements, annual contracts, spot buy, purchase contracts, etc.
Develop negotiation strategies and drive negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives.
Analyze monthly spend reports to identify trends and opportunities for further cost reductions. Measure and track internal cost savings performance to targets.
Oversee negotiations for hosting, SaaS, subscription and cloud infrastructure providers; negotiation of maintenance contracts, hardware purchases for laptops, servers, & telecom services.
Develop commodity specific performance criteria and award/remove business in accordance with results.
Work with suppliers to drive improvement on all areas measured within the supplier scorecard and manage quarterly business reviews.
Establish and monitor metrics to measure compliance and impact to the business.
Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for commercial and legal terms/ conditions.
Establish NPS scores with internal customers.
Provide input into procurement operations business processes and solutions to drive efficiency, savings and strong customer service.

Requirements:
12+ years of relevant sourcing and procurement experience.
A proven track record of coaching, motivating and supporting a team.
Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
Strong negotiation skills; able to forge strong relationships and maintain credibility internally and with suppliers abroad.
Innovative and solutions oriented with solid project management skills and an ability to juggle several projects simultaneously
Strong analytical skills (i.e. cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection).
