Full Job Description
Provide execution support for contracts, purchase orders, and task orders. Work with the contracting officer representative (COR) in managing the lifecycle of DoD acquisitions. Compile requirements from end users, strategize best acquisition option with the funds available, develop acquisition documents for contract award, and conduct any post contract awardclose out and record keeping activities. Collect all award documentation, track contract status, deliverables, and upcoming actions. Develop a ledger and track modifications and invoices throughout the life of the contract and upload and maintain current information on a resource management document repository. Assist with the preparation of briefs and status updates on contract activities, including quarterly Contract Management Review Boards, Contract Strategy approvals, and notifications to government of key contract activities.
5+ years of experience with DoD acquisition or contracting
Experience with applying supplements, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to acquisition processes
Experience with developing acquistion documents used in the award of contracts
Experience with leading source selections or major sole source procurement, including cost or price analysis, negotiations, and preparation of contract documentation
Active Secret clearance
BA or BS degree
Experience with IT acquisition preferred
Experience with the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) system a plus
BA or BS degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Law, Purchasing, or business-related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus
