Job Summary:
We are looking for a flexible, dedicated, Evening Custodian Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Custodian with St. Anthony's Day School, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary atmosphere where young children can explore, learn, and thrive. This is a Part-Time position working Monday-Friday 5:30pm-9:30pm. The ideal candidate should have a background and experience in custodial care and maintenance. The candidate should also be comfortable to work independently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Reports maintenance requests to the Management Team
· Keeps buildings clean, in an orderly condition, and in good state of repair
· Vacuums all classroom carpets daily; shampoos once a week or as needed.
· Sweeps and mops hallways, stairways and restrooms according to approved practices.
· Buff floors using the provided appropriate equipment
· Removes all trash from building and recycling daily and places in appropriate receptacles.
· Makes minor furniture and equipment repairs.
· Replaces burned out light in rooms and hallways.
· Assists in grounds maintenance.
· Demonstrates professionalism and confidentiality at all times
· Creates and sustains positive and effective interpersonal relationships in the workplace
· Communicates a warm, caring and respectful atmosphere to parents, staff and
community members that focus on quality customer service.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Secure and lock all doors at end of shift.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Certificate (GED). Candidate must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
