Scheduling Coordinator

Senior Helpers of Hilton Head Island is expanding and we are currently seeking an additional scheduler for our Hilton Head Island office (Moss Creek plaza, located on the Bluffton side of the bridge to the island). The selected applicant for this position within our corporate office will be offered a flexible schedule, Monday through Friday, and will be a key member of our staff.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-year of employee scheduling experience, preferably in a senior care environment
  • Prior CNA/Medical Assistant or similar background a plus, but not required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1-year of professional experience in a fast-paced workplace, handling inbound and outbound telephone calls
  • Willing and able to accept on-call responsibility after 5pm-9am Monday through Friday and 24/7 weekends for 1-week 1-2 times per month on average
  • Undergo thorough background and driver's license inquiry
  • Undergo thorough drug screen

Job Duties:

  • Schedule shifts of care staff
  • Input scheduling, caregiver and client information into database
  • Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls from employees, clients, applicants and service inquiries
  • Handle office visitors, including employees, clients, applicants and service inquiries
  • Compile client and employee files
  • Communicate with other members of the corporate office relative to applicants, employee performance and client service matters
  • Provide outstanding client care on a daily basis
  • Perform other duties related to employment, recruitment, client retention and client acquisition as needed
  • Participate in on-call rotation, which is shared among office staff
  • Accept on-call 1-2 weeks each month, which includes Monday through Friday 5pm-9am and 24/7 Saturday and Sunday

Salary: $13.00 to $15.00 /hour
