As a Plant Health Care Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of landscape installations with warranty terms and conditions. Your primary duties will include conducting inspections of completed landscape projects, documenting any issues or deficiencies covered by the warranty, and facilitating the resolution of warranty claims in coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inspections and warranty claims, providing support to customers throughout the warranty process, and contributing to the continuous improvement of warranty management procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of completed landscape projects to assess compliance with warranty terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvement in warranty management procedures.
- Communicate inspection findings to relevant stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and customers.
- Ensure that landscape installations comply with industry standards, local regulations, and project specifications
- Represent the company professionally and uphold its reputation for quality and customer satisfaction at all times.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding warranty claims and inquiries, addressing their concerns and providing assistance and upselling necessary/extra services.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, warranty claims, resolutions, and communications with stakeholders.
- Reviewing data to determine if we're encountering recurring issues with specific plants or facing similar challenges.
- Provide support and assistance to customers throughout the warranty process, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Document any issues or deficiencies covered by the warranty, including defects in materials, workmanship, or plant health.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agronomy, or related field preferred.
- Certification as a Certified Arborist or Certified Professional Horticulturist (CPH) is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of plant biology, pest identification, and disease diagnosis.
- Experience with pesticide application and integrated pest management practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
