Janitorial / Custodial Project Manager (Afternoon/Evening Shift)
Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Custodial Project Manager in the DMV area. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing various facilities maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage all cleaning operations and personnel at the designated account.
- Conduct training sessions for employees.
- Perform inspections and attend client meetings.
- Ensure all services outlined in service contracts are delivered.
- Oversee or coordinate project work, including carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, and other periodic tasks.
- Attend meetings with the HQ team.
- Order supplies and manage staff time attendance.
- Hire and interview new employees.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency with commercial janitorial equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours in the afternoon between 12 PM and 12 AM (hours may be adjusted based on client meetings or employee training). Ex: 12pm-8pm or 2pm-10pm. You can make your own working schedule that work best for your account after you finish all the trainings.
- Availability to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a janitorial supervision role.
- At least 1 year of experience in heavy-duty floor care and maintenance.
- Must be able to pass background check as the position involves working in government buildings.
Compensation:
- $40,000 – $55,000 per year (based on experience)
