Pastoral Support; Providing leadership that will strengthen the congregation’s relationship with Christ and one another through new and existing programs for faith formation.
Part Time, up to 20 hours per week
Cover Letter and local references required.
$15 per hour maximum w/quarterly reviews by Pastor w input from youth and education committee and council.
While hours are flexible, consistency is vital to building trusting relationships with congregation. Hours include a set weekly time onsite determined in advance and in cooperation with pastor.
Requirements: Responsible for and subject to ELCA doctrine and congregational policies.
Demonstrates consistent commitment to Christ and His church.
Possess organizational and leadership skills to facilitate family and youth programs including educational group activities.
Experience organizing fundraising activities.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Representation required at: Staff, Youth, Education Committee Meetings.
Must undergo Michigan CA/NR (child abuse/neglect central registry clearance) and youth protection training as determined by SOTL Council
