The Senior Talent Advisor is primarily responsible for executing a recruiting strategy that results in a top-tier diverse, qualified talent pool of professional or executive level candidates. We are focused on minimizing time to fill and maximizing service level to hiring managers. The Sr. Talent Advisor will assist in the fulfillment of the company’s most complex recruiting efforts in order to deliver high-quality candidates to hiring managers. You will participate in special projects within the department as well as act as a mentor to other Talent Advisors in the organization.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes the full cycle recruitment process including the development and execution of searches for defined divisions and/or projects. Sources, contacts and interviews qualified candidates for available positions while adhering to applicable state and federal laws. Provides overview of position responsibilities and qualifies compensation requirements.
Networks with outside sources (business associations, universities, alumni, professional organizations, etc.) to identify top-tier talent. Actively identifies candidates using enabling technologies and web tools, networking and cold calling.
Articulates the strengths and limitations of the applicants to the hiring manager(s). Works with hiring managers and HR team to develop recruitment strategies and define requirements and expectations. Provides regular progress updates; drives recruitment progression and ensures candidate decisions are made in a timely manner. Solicits feedback on candidates and refines recruiting strategy as needed. Maintains high levels of communications with the hiring manager(s) and understands the skill sets requested.
Establishes, maintains and fosters working relationships with Human Resources Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence and across the organization, understanding how the departments work; actively engaging in information exchange.
Updates contact management system and/or SuccessFactors and LinkedIn daily with candidate information documenting interview findings & indicating status of candidates and hires.
Ensures EEO disposition, salary and hiring guidelines are met and offer packages are in compliance with Company guidelines.
Works as a team with other BOKF recruiters to pass on leads for other positions being recruited by BOKF.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
In-depth knowledge of screening and interviewing techniques for exempt level candidates
In-depth knowledge of sourcing, recruitment and selection techniques on a local and national level
In-depth knowledge of behavioral interviewing skills and competency based selection
Extensive knowledge of relevant governmental/regulatory requirements (EEO, ADA, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills
Excellent PC skills including knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
Ability to organize multiple activities which require close attention to detail
Ability to interpret company policies, procedures and practices
Ability to work independently to achieve goals
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ experience in direct hire recruiting in a corporate or agency environment or 15+ years’ experience direct hire recruiting in a corporate or agency environment.
