Location: Africa AOR OCONUS
Purpose of the Position: The Task Order Project Manager serves as the in-country point of contact. Provides leadership and
direction to linguists, staff and subcontractors. Plans, executes and finalizes projects
according to strict deadlines and budgets. Defines the project’s objectives and oversees quality
control throughout its life cycle.
Principal Position Responsibilities:
Accountable for all aspects of the Task Order execution and manages the hands-on, day-to-day execution of OCONUS Task Order-related operational activities.
Responsible for meeting all technical, financial, and contractual requirements of the TO.
Responsible for TO PMO operations and resourcing of all Task Order requirements, including linguist staffing, GFE accountability, and Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) tasking responses.
Ensure that management processes and business systems facilitate meeting performance requirements.

Provide guidance for staff planning and contract modifications.
Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables.
Manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
Evaluate effectiveness of daily actions and systems, troubleshoot any potential and/or existing problems; work with appropriate staff to implement solutions.
Assist in providing strategic direction and mobilize support to ensure the GLS INSCOM mission is accomplished.
Provide leadership in strategic and operational planning, business and program development, and facilities management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business related field.
Strong management and leadership experience; 15 years of management experience, including 10 years of supervisory experience.
Or, 20 year military career (intelligence field preferred), plus PMP Certification or DAWIA Level III certification as PM
Previous contracting experience Linguist Contracts and/or government contracting is desired, but not required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
In-depth knowledge of the functions and operations of major U.S. Military Commands.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
Complete understanding of operations of assigned contract.
Attention to details and able to handle multiple tasks independently.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Advanced knowledge of various computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Extensive knowledge of Department of Defense, United States government structure and agency procedures and policies.
Security Clearance: Top Secret-SCI (TS/SCI)
Physical Requirements/Working Environment: Subject to work long hours.
