Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in Marketing or Strategy and Operation.
Team management experience with an ability to work across teams and influence senior leaders.
Tolerance for ambiguity and ability to work in a fast-changing environment, with an entrepreneurial approach.
Operational rigor combined with excellent business acumen, problem solving, project management and analytical skills.
Long-term strategic thinking balanced with near-term execution skills and the ability to take complex data and distill them into a meaningful and coherent story.
Excellent verbal communication skills with peers, management, and cross-functional teams.
Executive-level written and visual presentation skills.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As the Head of Strategy and Operations for the Growth and Opportunities Team, you are a strategic marketer who wants to sit at the center of a global, high impact and world-changing marketing team. In this role, you will serve as the right hand to the Vice President of the organization and have significant exposure to all facets of our business which includes Grow with Google, Global Google for Startups and Latin America and Canada Marketing. In addition to sitting on the leadership team you will manage your own small team.
As a strong and versatile business thinker, you will move fluidly from working with key cross-functional partners to diving deeply into complex issues facing our business to put together thoughtful point of views that advise and inform the Vice President and the marketing leadership team.

Lead annual business planning globally.
Own day-to-day business operations (e.g., resource allocation, management meeting).
Write executive communication and presentations across the Growth and Opportunities Team.
Conduct business analytics to support the team’s marketing strategy.
Identify and develop key marketing operations processes to improve overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
