3 years of experience in enterprise database administration and/or running technical infrastructure operations.
2 years of experience as a team manager.
Practitioner-level experience in enterprise database administration and/or running systems infrastructure in production.
Ability to work globally and collaboratively in a team environment, to be diplomatic, and to influence technical practitioners, stakeholders, and globally distributed teams.
Ability to empathize with technical practitioners.
Interest in sharing technical knowledge and information with others.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Cloud Developer Relations team consists of experts from a wide range of technology roles including Software Engineers, Data Scientists and Engineers, ML Scientists, System Administrators (DevOps), SREs, Cloud Native Engineers/Ops, etc., who combine their domain expertise with a desire to help Google Cloud build the products and solutions that solve their community's' problems in simple, scalable, and innovative ways.
As a trusted member of your developer community, you'll empathize deeply with members of those communities, and advocate on their behalf to the Google Cloud Product and Engineering teams. You'll collect and analyze developer needs, and work with internal teams to ensure we build the right products and solutions.
As a Cloud Developer Advocate Manager, you'll lead a team that helps practitioners build and operate more secure applications and services. You'll advocate for these practitioners to the Google Cloud Product and Engineering teams, ensuring our products are built to meet the community's needs and provide the best possible user experiences. You'll also raise awareness of cloud security technologies and methodologies within our technical communities through enablement and inspiration, driving strategy around Google Developer Relations efforts for specific communities, products, and paradigms. In this role, you'll use your practitioner knowledge and empathy to define product strategies and craft narratives around new products and technologies, meeting technical practitioners where they are, and helping them get to where they need to be.
Create engaging and informative online resources (articles, white-papers, videos, screencasts, training, blog posts, social media etc.) to increase awareness of Google Cloud Platform products and best practices.
Work closely with teams across Google Cloud Platform to understand their developer priorities, and create and execute associated developer community engagement strategies.
Establish credibility as a subject matter expert at a deep level by engaging with your developer community in meaningful ways.
Identify new outreach channels in response to industry trends and the ever-changing developer community landscape.
