Process Technology, a leader in the design, innovation, and manufacturing of heating equipment, is looking for a Mechanical Product Development Engineering Manager to design, prototype, and test new and innovative products. In this position, you will lead a team in the research and development of ideas and concepts for new products as well as improvements to the performance and design of existing products. The Mechanical Product Development Engineering Manager will work as part of a larger cross-functional team to optimize and drive the Stage-Gate process. Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, design, and develop next-generation products and innovative solutions for the metal plating and semiconductor industries.
Drive research, design, and test materials and components for use in equipment development.
Ensure the application of mechanical engineering, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and related knowledge and experience to drive cutting-edge design solutions.
Manage new product development projects through design solutions which meet required engineering, manufacturing, and financial targets.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, finance, and other groups to ensure product design for manufacturability and market needs.
Review product documentation for accuracy.
Serve as project manager on moderately complex design projects.
Other essential responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; master’s degree and electrical knowledge is a plus.
Five or more years of experience in a product development or design engineering role.
Prior leadership experience or training preferred but not required.
Project management training or certification is preferred.
Expert in FEA, fluid flow, and thermodynamics; prior experience in heat exchanges, plating or automotive industries is preferred.
Extensive experience in stress analysis, CFD analysis, and Design of Experiments (or Design for Manufacturing/Assembly).
Proficient in Solidworks, LabView, and MS Office.
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Motivated, results-oriented, and high energy.
Valid driver’s license; ability to travel up to 10%.
