NCI is looking for Supply Chain data analytics and operations manager; responsible for establishing supply chain data analytics capabilities, as well as coordinating supply chain operational improvements within the organization.

This position will be responsible for various aspects of supply chain business operations including establishing appropriate metrics, developing data analytic capabilities, working closely with VP Supply chain in developing SCM road maps and leading other SCM initiatives as required. This role will require extensive interface with various stakeholders within the organization is successfully lead and coordinate initiatives.

Responsibilities include:
Establish new Data Analytics operational capabilities along with providing dashboards to manage operational metrics

Interface with members of the SC Operations, and other cross functional teams to identify and implement process improvement opportunities

Drive efficiencies in supply chain operations through data analysis as well as organized periodic meetings with SCM leadership to review these metric along with developing appropriate action plans

Effectively communicate system and process changes to the team and stakeholders while successfully influencing positive change

Act as an analytical liaison between database tools and the end-user requirements, working cross-functionally to identify and analyze data, and troubleshoot issues resulting in improved business performance

Extract data across multiple source systems to consolidate information into a single source for consumption and/or distribution resulting in actionable communication as needed

Support VP – Supply chain in developing and implementing a short term and long term roadmap

Manage a team of operational analysts to develop dashboards and other operational capabilities

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, and data analytics in manufacturing or project operations environment

Advanced in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas and graphing) capabilities

Experience with Data Analysis and Data Mining

Proficient with other Microsoft Office products including: Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project; Outlook e-mail and calendar functions; and the Internet. Ability to learn/use internal tools (Business Warehouse)

Project Leadership, Management or Project Management experience with the ability to develop procedures for consistent work performance

Manage and prioritize large quantities of information

Some travel may be required, estimated up to 10% of time with mostly domestic overnight stays for multiple days.

Desired Skills and Experience:
Proven ability to present complex data to senior and executive leadership conveying key points and obtaining concurrence for next steps

Strong Business Acumen / Business Intelligence and ability to turn data into usable information

Lean or Six Sigma Specialist/Expert

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS), prefer supply chain, engineering or related field. Master’s degree is preferred.

Supply Chain/Purchasing Data Analytics, Data Bases, Data Visualization and reporting
