Lead strategic growth and profit objectives across Soft Goods & Apparel product categories, within all brands channels and with all customers.
Ensure strategies position brands and product categories effectively to target appropriate market demographics for all and minimize cross brand competition.
Leads team of Apparel and Soft Goods leaders to develop effective programs designed to create demand and brand awareness, as well as maximize market penetration and sell through for respective brand or category.
Utilize expert understanding of the marketplace and leverage this information to make strategic business decisions relative to customer and consumer initiatives for the overall product categories and within each respective brand strategy.
Responsible for short- and long-term P&L, including sales targets, OPEX, CTP, budgets and forecasts across all apparel and soft good brands and product categories.
Lead the execution and delivery of sales objectives in support of company volume, profit and market share objectives.
Collaborates with senior leadership to facilitate the creation and maintenance of an effective company culture and a teamwork environment within this culture.
In-depth knowledge of financial measures applicable to leading and growing a business.
An understanding of the importance of brand building and an ability to manage development of brands.
Expert strategic business management skills (sharing strategy and driving execution) and decision-making skills, including ability to provide guidance for appropriate analyses.
Strong understanding of the apparel and soft goods industry.
Extensive knowledge of customer base, including influencers, retailers, and consumers. General understanding of the global markets, preferences and trends.
Knowledgeable about International business and understanding of different cultural environments and consumer preferences.
Extensive knowledge of global/regional distribution channels, including big box/mass merchandisers, small stores and specialty retailers.
Excellent organizational leadership skills with proven ability to lead, develop, build and motivate highly effective individuals and teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is required. MBA preferred.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience working in international companies.
Minimum 10 years progressive leadership experience managing multiple aspects of business operations, including P&L responsibility, with either a sales, marketing, or brand management emphasis, preferably in apparel or soft goods industry.
Demonstrable accomplishments and proven track record in apparel and/or premium branded consumer goods.
Proven track record of leading growth in revenues and profits.
