Sr. Business Analyst, Analytics & Insights, Commercial Excellence
Our Commercial Analytics and Insights team is all about delivering the right insight, to the right team at the right time. As data continues to play an integral role in all our decision making, the Analytics & Insights team is working tirelessly to make big data easy to consume.
In this high visibility role, supporting Baxter’s US business units, you’ll help drive the team’s mission to deliver analytics and insights that drive results and improve business decision making for our internal and external customers.
Combining your business knowledge and technical expertise, you’ll own development and deployment of key internal and external performance dashboards to drive commercial excellence for sales and marketing teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops content aimed at increasing visibility to data, analytics & insights to drive business results.
Design & develop the key dashboards for reporting, customer targeting, market intelligence and sales manager tools.
Visualize market intelligence analysis to assess overall business performance in key markets.
Development of AI driven insights to drive efficiency in the commercial excellence process.
Work cross functionally with product marketing leads to identify target customers to optimize new product launches.
Complex understanding of business issues, systems, data streams, & information needs. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Develop materials, presentations, scorecards & measurements for internal and external audiences to articulate strategy, validate key metrics, and track execution, effectiveness & financial implications.
Qualifications and Experience
Ability to evaluate market potential, create customer segmentation and prioritize commercial opportunities
Deep understanding of customers’ business priorities and buying journey by having managed a Baxter product portfolio and driving go to market strategy
Strong understanding of business and economic frameworks to identify subtle connections in customers’ business
An ability to turn insights into relevant, actionable guidance for customer targeting, market intelligence and new product launch excellence
A spirit of collaboration across different teams and functions
Ability to create predictive / prescriptive analytics as well as understanding of Machine Learning
Working knowledge of Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx, SQL, Cognos, Javelin, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Bachelor's degree required, MBA desirable
Minimum of 5+ years of analytics experience preferred
