Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses (CEB), Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Consolidated Edison, Inc. Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses, Inc., through its three main subsidiaries (Con Edison Solutions, Con Edison Development, and Con Edison Energy), develops, owns, and operates renewable and energy infrastructure assets and provides energy-related products and services to wholesale and retail customers.

And as we continue to grow, CEB is seeking to hire a Systems Analyst responsible for the technical support of vendor packages and in-house developed applications used by various groups within CEB. This will include troubleshooting issues, performing upgrades, maintaining application integration components, developing custom reports and tools and database administration. The Systems Analyst will also be responsible for coding, testing, supporting and documenting new computer programs, including mobile solutions. This position will be involved in all aspects of the product development life cycle including gathering user requirements, designing the application, developing and programming the code, end-to-end testing and documentation. This includes taking a leadership role in the software development life cycle to ensure project tasks are completed. The applicant must have the ability to perform support and development tasks independently and /or with minimum guidance

Project Role: Works with limited supervision on low complexity tasks. Develop new applications or work with vendor to install packages
Support production systems in-house and vendor applications, including troubleshooting and resolving production problems
Deliverables - Develop functional scope, tech designs, test plans and performs unit, integration and system testing and coordination of user acceptance testing
Business relationship and management: collaborates with subject matter experts to develop deliverables
Perform other related assignments, as required

College degree in Computer Science or equivalent required, with a minimum of two years experience.

Technical Skills PREFERRED

Programming Languages: .Net Framework (including VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET), Java, C/C++, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, HTML
Operating Systems: All windows platforms, Linux
Middleware: Tibco Businessworks, Microsoft BizTalk, JMS, Enterprise Java Beans, WebServices, SOAP
Software: OSISoft PI Suite, PeopleSoft 9.2, Oracle Financials Suite (including EBS, EPM, PeopleSoft or Hyperion), Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Office 365 Products, Microsoft Reporting Services, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Source Safe
Database: Microsoft SQLServer 2005 or later, Oracle 9i or later, MySQL, PostgreSQL

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

2+ years experience
Experience in supporting with custom or vendor applications is a plus
Familiarity with various financial, human resources or project management sub-processes
Ability to learn new technologies as required for the job using documentation and other available sources
Ability to work on multiple assignments with changing priorities while meeting deadlines
Must be flexible to work off hours as required to install product upgrades, support production problems and other corporate emergencies.
