Position Summary
All aircraft systems are integral to our missions. It’s our Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery Integrated Communications/Navigation/Mission Systems specialists who keep these systems running efficiently. From regularly testing for malfunctions to preparing aircraft for covert operations, they ensure the needs of our pilots are met throughout every mission.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate navigation and communications systems.
- Diagnose malfunctions using test systems and equipment.
- Prepare aircraft for reconnaissance and covert operations.
- Install, inspect and repair avionics systems.

Qualifications
This is an active-duty position as an Air Force Reserve officer. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma, GED or GED with 15 college credits
- Electronics ASVAB requirements
- Knowledge of interpreting and applying mechanical, wiring and electronic circuit diagrams
- Normal color vision
- Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 39
