As a reflection of current needs and planned growth we are excited to offer the opportunity to join our marketing communications team in a newly-created position: Sr. Manager, Provider & Professional Communications. This mission-critical role will support the development and execution of team member communications designed to inspire, engage and align one of our most important internal audiences: The 1,500+ dentists who have said “Yes” to building their career at Aspen Dental.
Partner with communications leaders to design a strategic communications framework to reach & influence doctors at every stage of their career journey, from new graduates just starting out to experienced, multi-unit practice owners
Identify audience insights and communications touchpoints to develop and implement a comprehensive content & channel strategy to maximize reach and engagement (right message, right channel, right time)
Serve as communications business partner to and collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to communicate opportunities for development, ownership, and career pathing; Most frequent collaborators will include Clinical Support, L&D, Recruitment Marketing, New Office Operations, and Practice Ownership Program
Execute executive communications plan for Chief Clinical Officer
Liaise with communications, social media & recruitment teams to identify great stories as well as produce and distribute content via all internal and external communications channels
Provide strategic input to communication department’s annual plan as well as for doctor communications component of individual marketing projects
Establish and deliver regular reporting on key metrics/analytics to ensure programs and initiatives are achieving planned objectives
Apply project management skills to effectively manage individual and team projects (defining key deliverables, project plans and timelines, budgets)
Minimum Education and Experience:
6-8 years of communications/PR experience (healthcare and large, multi-site retail experience a plus)
Passion for continuous improvement and record of setting and exceeding marketing goals that enable organizational objectives
Proven ability to translate trends, opportunities, themes, insights and organizational needs into actionable plans
Team player with a “Yes,” can-do mindset who is highly collaborative and a hands-on doer
Strong editorial sense and exceptional writing ability, along with strong verbal communication and listening skills
Ability to work collaboratively with others at all levels of the organization, as well as independently
Flexibility in a fast-paced, growing organization
Experience with SharePoint preferable
Bachelor’s degree, with a major in communications, journalism, public relations or related field
