Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Patient Care Supervision and Intake management:
- Provide skilled nursing care to clients in their homes when applicable. Including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and other essential nursing services.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor client health status and progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes, in compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all documentation meets quality standards and is submitted in a timely manner.
- Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding client care and any changes in health status.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care plan discussions.
Office Management Duties:
- Administrative Oversight:
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling client appointments, coordinating caregiver assignments, and overseeing office staff.
- Ensure the office is well-organized, stocked with necessary supplies, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Staff Management:
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising administrative staff and caregivers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship to team members.
- Financial Administration:
- Assist in managing the budget and financial processes, including billing, payroll, and expense tracking.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for services rendered.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, agency policies, and industry best practices.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, audits, and regulatory inspections, addressing any deficiencies identified.
- Client Relations:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and their families for administrative inquiries and concerns.
- Address client feedback and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Licensure:
- Current RN or LPN license in South Dakota.
- Education:
- LPN or RN required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home care or a similar setting.
- Previous office management or administrative experience is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in healthcare software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
