The liberal arts department is home to SCAD Core, one of the most academically diverse general education programs at any arts university in the U.S. Students learn to express, defend and investigate new ideas in required and elective classes in subjects including anatomy, astronomy, biology, communication, English, foreign languages, mathematics, philosophy, physics, political science and psychology.
You have the opportunity to join the SCAD liberal arts department as a professor of business and teach courses such as entrepreneurship, accounting and management. In this role, you will develop and deliver coursework on economics, financial analysis, planning and management, strategic analysis, and business strategy development.
As part of the energetic and innovative SCAD liberal arts faculty, you will prepare the next generation of creative professionals, majoring in fields ranging from film and television to themed entertainment design, from visual effects to writing, and more.
