Senior Compensation Analyst (Temporary)

Position Summary:
Compensation professional with a passion to manage and provide consultation and analysis of compensation programs for our team at Natera. Act as the lead resource for all matters relating to compensation. The Sr. Compensation Analyst administers the compensation function company-wide. Conducts research and analysis on internal and external compensation factors such as job levels, salary structures, pay equity and market conditions. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the job leveling framework and compensation practices.

Primary Responsibilities:
Audit jobs for content and prepare job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties and requirements.
Review requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary grade/level assignment
Formulates recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions and organizational structures.
Provide market data and analysis for new positions in new locations. Should have experience using Market Benchmarking surveys like Radford or Mercer.
Support effective compensation governance across teams via job leveling and job families and market ranges.
Create new jobs and job families as needed.
Lead the annual and midyear compensation roll out and prepare Total Compensation statements.
Maintaining Executive compensation data across the Company.
Assist in the preparation of Compensation Committee meeting materials.
Bi-weekly review grant population, track burn rate and monthly spend and extracting reports from equity edge.
Prepare and maintain Standards of Operations aligned to Compensation strategy.
Build a consultative and collaborative relationship with HR business partners, business leaders and team members on compensation programs evolution and compensation initiatives.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to resolve compensation issues.
Consult and advise employees and managers on all compensation related questions.
Develop and deliver compensation training and communication for leaders and employees
Advise leaders with compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, job matches, job leveling, and job families

Bachelor's degree with a concentration in a quantitative/analytical major such as economics, finance, business, math, statistics, etc., or equivalent required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a professional, productive environment. Background in Compensation, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or Economics preferred.
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience using Success factors (or comparable compensation management tool)
Experience in evaluation and benchmarking of a variety of business and functional positions.
Strong sense of business ethics, integrity, and accountability.
Solid eye for business and the ability to influence and develop strong working relationships with multiple partners, including executives, line management, and peers.
Excellent Excel skills and data modeling/analytics capability; acute attention to detail.
Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to successfully identify the root cause of issues/concerns and propose creative considerations to address the issue
A sense of urgency and a proactive approach
Strong collaboration and customer service skills
A self-reliant achiever with the ability to work independently and set and adjust priorities
Team player who can easily handle shifting priorities and multi-tasking in a deadline-oriented environment

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Duties typically performed in an office setting.
This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone and read printed material.
Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings & weekends) at times.
