Voya Investment Management is seeking an individual to support Distribution across its Business Management, Data and Sales Enablement and Business Development teams. The role is responsible for collecting, organizing and reporting data and intelligence to inform business and sales strategy and for management reporting. The Distribution Business Analyst will work closely with other team members to identify and meet the data and reporting requirements of the Distribution team. The Distribution Business Analyst’s contribution will include assessing current processes and reporting while identifying improvements and automation necessary to meet the evolving demands of the business.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Compilation of multiple data sources (internal and external) to craft, manage and update Distribution reports and analysis including:
Using Tableau and Power BI, create data visualizations and dashboards for Distribution team’s key performance indicators, sales management reporting and senior management reporting
Internal business presentations and reporting of metrics both on an ad-hoc and reoccurring basis
Support sales efforts through prospect/client segmentation and targeting methodology
Maintain the CRM (Salesforce) as it relates to sales territories, organizations, assignments, product information, reporting and dashboards
Work with the Technology team to automate weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
Support Distribution Management’s day to day data needs; facilitate understanding of data needs and look for consistent standards by which to report
Coordinate with Sales team leaders to model scenarios and determine the best alignment of territories, sales teams and individuals
Applicants should be graduating with an undergraduate degree in the spring/summer of 2020
College graduate passionate about a growth-oriented career in financial services
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering preferred
Strong academic standing (GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred)
Enthusiasm for the financial markets and investment management
Excellent analytical and project management skills
Ability to multi-task, thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment with a proven commitment to consistently high quality work
Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills; including experience in effectively communicating with classmates and coworkers.
Strong Excel skills, proficiency with PowerPoint; Salesforce experience a plus
Experience with Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools
Experience manipulating, exploring, and analyzing data in Python, R, SAS, or a similar programming language
Proficiency in SQL and ability to write queries and pull data from various sources
