As a Gogo Business Aviation Production Supervisor on the Production Operations team you will be responsible for leading a team of Assembly, Test and Repair Station Technicians.

How will you make a difference?
Partner with Demand Planning to ensure that Manufacturing schedules are met and Sales Orders are fulfilled in time to meet customer needs
Responsible for the execution, maintenance and improvement to the Production process and Repair Station Manual.
Provide day-to-day leadership and work prioritization to Assembly, Test and Repair Technicians
Responsible for driving the team to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIS) such as Customer On Time Shipping (COTS) and RMA Turn Around Time (TAT)
Interface with Manufacturing and Test Engineering to resolve work stoppage issues
Work with Quality to ensure that inspections are completed in time to support production schedules
Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory)
Provide feedback to Manufacturing and Test Engineering on recommended process improvements to drive manufacturability and repeatability.
Work with Manufacturing and Test Engineering during the NPI phase to develop Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs) and Manufacturing Test Procedures (MTPs)
Train Assembly, Test and Repair Technicians on new and revised MWIs and MTPs
Work with Demand Planning to ensure that there is sufficient consumable material to support Production and Repair
Responsible for the cleanliness of the Production and Repair Area including ongoing 5S activities
Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to define floor layout for process changes and New Product Introductions
Champion a Lean mindset and is responsible for driving continuous improvements on the production floor
Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience working in an Assembly and Test environment for electromechanical hardware
2+ year of Production Supervisor experience
This is a SAFETY-SENSITIVE ROLE and will be subject to random drug testing

Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Demonstrated ability to assemble and test electro-mechanical hardware using Manufacturing Work Instructions and Manufacturing Test Procedures
Experience using an ERP system such as SAP or Microsoft Navision to drive production processes
Experience training employees to assemble and test product
Experience using a Configuration Management tools such as Agile PLM
Experience working in an ESD controlled environment
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic—self-motivated and results-driven
Excellent problem-solving skills
Passion for mentoring and coaching a team
Preferred skills, experience and talents
Green Belt certified
IPC 610-A certified
Experience working in a Part 21 and/or Part 145 FAA facility a plus
Experience working with a Quality Management System (QMS) such as AS9100 or ISO 9001
