Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, a thorough understanding of GAAP, and experience with financial software. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate financial projections.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Implement accrual accounting principles to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage the company's financial software, including financial planning and budgeting tools.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Review and approve financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial efficiency and reduce costs.
Skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts.
- Experience with financial software, including budgeting and forecasting tools.
- Proven ability to analyze financial data and develop accurate financial projections.
- Experience with accrual accounting principles.
- Background in corporate accounting, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with financial investment and planning.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A CPA certification is an asset.
