We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Part-Time Embroidery Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating embroidery machines, preparing garments, and ensuring high-quality embroidered designs on various products. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Embroidery Machines: Set up and operate embroidery machines to produce designs on garments and other items.
- Design Preparation: Load and adjust designs, select appropriate threads and materials, and ensure designs meet quality standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy, consistency, and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of threads, needles, and other supplies.
- Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with customers to understand their design needs and provide excellent service.
Qualifications:
- Experience with embroidery machines and techniques preferred (Tajima, Brother)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with embroidery software
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
Working Hours:
- Part-time, flexible hours
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
