The Orchard Townhouse is seeking a part time event planner. This position is mostly remote with on site support required for larger events. We are seeing a motiivated and oganized individual with a skill for sales and negotiation, client management and closing a deal! Attention to detail and excellent communication are a must. Ths is a great opportunity for somoene who might manage a few other locations sales as it will nor require full time effort.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct outbound outreach to potential clients.
- Manage inbound communications with clients.
- Utilize events software for all client communications, proposals, BEOs, and payments.
- Meet sales goals and targets set by the restaurant.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the events industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with events software (e.g., CRM, event management tools).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on-site for larger events as needed.
**Compensation:**
- 8% commission on events sales.
- Hourly rate for on-site presence during larger events.
**Sales Goal:**
- Sales goal of $950,000 in events sales per year.
