Supports, educates, and assists patients and their families, serving as a link to their doctors
and supportive services.
This position’s role is key in the implementation of multi-disciplinary care.
Connects with newly diagnosed patients prior to first apt and at first appointment with oncology provider
Facilitates the Multidisciplinary Care at MDA Cancer Center at Cooper University Health Care
Supports, educates and removes barriers to ensure timely specialized care
Assesses patients for Clinic Research Trials
Coordinates Disease Specific Tumor Board
Complies with all system and departmental policies and procedures
Maintains active and current professional credentials
Experience Required
Oncology Nursing experience and program development background a plus
Education Requirements
Current NJ-RN License, BSN required.
