Wyndham Vacation Ownership is currently seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance Technical in Orlando, Florida. The Wyndham Vacation Ownership - Information Technology (WVO-IT) Quality Assurance Test Manager defines and implements IT quality assurance practices and procedures. The Quality Assurance Test Manager manages a group of quality assurance engineers who test, evaluate and validate software or services. Analyzes discrepancies in service or performance and makes recommendations for product or service updates. The Quality Assurance Test Manager will work closely with senior quality management, the Project Management Office (PMO), outsourced providers and developers to facilitate numerous Quality Assurance Test (QAT) services, (e.g. project estimates, testing strategies, test documents) in support of WVO related business solutions.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Implementation of the organizations quality assurance test strategy including manual, automated and performance testing strategies, best practices, test tools, environments and related infrastructure.
Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of direct reports; actively works to promote and recognize performance, mentor and coaching.
Assign duties and monitor quality of work; assure staff follows QAT best practices, methodologies, and processes.
Improve testing policy, process, and procedures.
Effectively communicate project status for all active projects that QAT is supporting.
Know annual capital project goals, status on achievement, current pipeline work, and risks.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent years of experience and training
Essential - A sound understanding and practical experience software testing practices
Desired - Software Test Certifications (CSTE, CTFL, CTAL, CTEL)

Experience using a defect management system.
Experience using a source control management system.
Demonstrated proficiency in building and managing high performance teams.
Experience building and operating automated testing frameworks for highly available and utilized applications and services.
Strong in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Word and Excel
7+ years practical testing experience for large software applications
5+ years in a leadership role with direct reports
5+ years experience in defining and managing software testing strategy
5+ years with test management systems such as HP Quality Center
3+ years experience scripting and test automation
