Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks to support attorneys, including maintaining and organizing files, conducting legal research, drafting documents.
- Processing and transcribing documents, entering data, scheduling and taking dictation.
- Keep cases organized by establishing and organizing files, monitoring calendars, meeting deadlines, inputting information into file database and case management software.
- Prepare travel arrangements for attorneys and prepare expense reports as needed.
Skills: * Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Interpersonal Skills - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Organizational Skills - Transcription Skills - Attention to Detail.
Experience: Minimum of two to four years’ experience as a legal assistant.
