Full Job Description
As the Director of Finance for a CACI Operating Group you will be aligned with a ~$150M line of business and serving as the single point of contact for the finance function. This position will serve as the business partner to their line leader.
Responsible for supporting the leadership team with proper business acumen.
Working with the Operating Group Management, Division Management, and Operating Group Accounting Team to produce accurate monthly, quarterly, annual forecast.
Adept in identifying financial risks and opportunities.
Ability to evaluate future business needs, highlight issues and strengths in the business, and clearly communicate findings to senior management
Compile, analyze, interpret, and report financial data
Prepare financial models to support business planning exercises
Effectively communicate orally and in writing
Perform ad hoc analysis as required
Minimum 5-10 years relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar field
Strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently and effectively handle and complete multiple tasks
Experience with various IT financial systems, advanced Excel skills
Experience in leading the finance function for $150M+ businesses, and driving growth
Experience in a finance function with a government contractor where responsibilities included program financial management, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling.
Experience at both the small business and large business level
Understanding of financial statements
Working knowledge of Accounting
Knowledge of CostPoint
Must be willing to obtain a security clearance including one or more polygraph examinations
Role is predominantly in-person, with ability for occasional telework
Role requires routine non-standard work hours (i.e., at least 1 weekend per month) to accomplish job functions
